Effect of Water Content On Sand Production

When the water content of the crushed material is controlled within a certain range, it can play an important role in the dust removal effect, but when the water content is high, the sand production amount is reduced.

The effect of material moisture content on sand production is as follows

  • When the moisture content of the material is controlled to be no more than 2%, the dust is seriously polluted during the process of crushing the material, and a dust removal device must be adopted;
  • When the moisture content of the material is controlled at 2%-5%, the crushing effect of the material is the best;
  • When the moisture content of the material is controlled to be greater than 5%, the sand production rate is significantly reduced, and the yield decreases sharply as the moisture content of the material increases;
  • When the water content reaches 9%-11%, the sand production rate is almost zero;
  • When the water content is greater than 11%, it is preferred to use wet sand production, but the sand production is lower than dry sand production.
  • When the moisture content of the material increases, the sand production rate decreases.

Effect of Feeding Amount on Sand Production of Sand Making Machine

  • When the amount of feed is small, the amount of sand produced increases with the amount of feed;
  • When the amount of feedstock is increased to a certain amount, the amount of sand produced reaches a maximum value;
  • When the amount of feed exceeds a certain amount, the amount of sand produced will decrease. The reason is that the flow of stone in the crushing chamber is large, and most of the stone thrown by the rotor hits the stone stream and is not hit on the anvil.
