Vertical Roller Mill Structure

Vertical roller mills are the main milling equipment and are commonly used in the production of cement.

The structure of the vertical mill mainly includes grinding discs, grinding rolls, classifiers, pressurizing devices, monitoring devices, transmission devices, water spraying systems, and coarse powder external circulation systems.

  • Wherein, the grinding disc comprises a guiding ring, a wind ring, a retaining ring, a lining plate, a disk body, a scraping plate and a lifting device;
  • Grinding rolls and sleeves are wear-resistant parts that require sufficient toughness and good wear resistance.
  • The classifier can be divided into three categories: static, dynamic and efficient combination. Customers can choose different sorting equipment according to their actual needs.

The working principle of the static classifier is similar to that of a cyclone. The structure is simple, there are no moving parts, and it is not easy to malfunction. However, the adjustment is not flexible and the separation efficiency is not high.

The dynamic classifier is a high-speed rotating cage. When the dust-laden gas passes through the cage, the fine particles are brought in by the friction of the air, and the coarse particles are directly intercepted by the blades.

The high-efficiency combined type separator mainly combines the dynamic classifier and the static classifier, that is, the cylindrical cage acts as the rotor, and the wind guide vanes are evenly distributed around it, so that the airflow uniformly enters the classifier area up and down. The coarse and fine powders are separated clearly and the powder selection efficiency is high.
